Curtin University selects QINSy
Curtin University (Western Australia) has purchased a QPS QINSy Lite bundle to assist with the data acquisition and processing of multibeam echosounder data from an Odom ES3 system. One of the selling points of QINSy was the flexibility to interface other sonar to the acquisition package without the need to purchase additional device drivers.
Acoustic Imaging CEO Douglas Bergersen notes “Curtin University already own a pair of Fledermaus licenses so extending their workflow back to raw data acquisition with the QPS product line is a logical decision. Acoustic Imaging is actively working with a number of Universities and research institutes in Australia to further marine geophysical programs. Our assistance comes in various forms, from hardware and software leasing or sales to advice on how best to conduct a survey to meet a project objective. We look forward to the insights Curtin University will provide with their MBES data.”
