IHA Consulting Purchases SonarWiz Office for Subbottom Profiler / Seismic Processing

IHA Consulting has purchased Chesapeake Technology’s SonarWiz Office for the processing of subbottom profiling data related to a project off PNG.

Ian Hargreaves, owner of IHA Consulting, chose SonarWiz because “it’s a software product that’s easy to learn and easy to use for engineering-type survey data”. SonarWiz will initially be used to process SBP data from a SyqWest 2010 sonar operating in 100’s of metres of water. The sample file sent prior to purchase imported perfectly to SonarWiz, with recording delay read from the proper SEG-Y fields.
